I was waitlisted late January - I still haven't heard back from them? Has anyone heard back ??

IGNORE STATUS: Has anyone heard back from them, it is already past the 15th April? Do I still have a chance to get admitted?

Received an email a while back to check portal. Also received fellowship in addition to stipend. Didn't officially commit until today.

Off the waitlist!!! Accepted right away!

Went here for undergrad. I emailed admissions after not hearing anything and they said that their website was having errors reflecting admission status. They informed me that I was not offered admission, as majority of the first wave of applicants accepted their offers.

I was on the waitlist and was notified by email that they will not be going onto the waitlist for students with my area of interest. Supposedly they haven't gone onto the waitlist at all. Guys, I'm still on five waitlists and it sounds like none of them have moved at all. People really need to decline offers they will not accept and asked to be removed from waitlists they will not consider. I had three offers and declined two of them, I also asked to be removed from several waitlists which I was not considering. But there is just too much gridlock at the moment and people are going to get screwed over. Please start declining offers you won't accept, it's almost the fifteenth and there are a lot of people like me who really don't want to have to accept an offer only to get into a school I'd prefer after the fifteenth.

Any news about UMD waitlist? Was there any movement from the waitlist?

Hi. Greatly appreciate it if you could kindly decline any offers that are less preferable to you, especially if you are currently holding multiple offers. Doing so will help streamline and accelerate the entire admissions process, benefiting both those on the waitlist and yourselves. Additionally, the school that may not be your top choice could be the dream school for someone else, who might in turn be holding an offer from a school you prefer, especially if your interests lie in different topics and areas.

Offered an RA position after getting an interview by a professor in March

I had an interview after submitting my application. It turns out I am not the one that the advisor was looking for.

Received an email to check the portal. Got accepted. No funding information yet.
