no funding

Econ pre-doc and was extensively involved in a years-long project with faculty and grad students at the department. Wasn't my first choice, but still pretty disappointed.

TPB: Based on posts from last year, many students get accepted without the interview as well. That gives me hope as I have also not heard back from them yet.

Profile: 1st from Cambridge and Distinction from UCL in relevant subjects, prior contact with supervisor who thought it was a strong application.
