Anthropo, University Of California, Santa Cruz Archaeology focus. Two years of experience in half a dozen labs during my undergrad, 5 years in CRM leading field and lab efforts. No GRE. Multiple email, phone, and video exchanges with faculty, all of whom seemed very eager to work with me. Bummed about being rejected here, but glad I got into the other schools I applied to!

Creative Writing, University Of Alaska (Fairbanks) For the MFA+MA combined program: This one really hurt to be honest because they're one of my top choices and a couple months ago, they sent me an email welcoming me to the university and gave me a student account to sign up for courses and on-campus housing. Funnily enough, even with the rejection, I can still sign up for classes and on-campus housing strangely, so I'm unsure what's happening, but I'm super happy for everyone who got in: congratulations to you all, and hope you all have an amazing time!

Political Science, City University Of New York (CUNY) IGNORE STATUS. Someone asked about this program. I was accepted in February, next week there will be an open house event to get more information about the program. According to the information I have, all accepted students were invited. (Now, a two-factor authentication for creating an account on this web? WTF?)

Politics, New School For Social Research Waitlisted. I had to email them this morning and ask for an update. I then got an update in my portal that I was on the waitlist. Final decisions will be announced on a rolling basis starting in April. Does anyone know when the deadline to make a decision for those already accepted is? Good luck to all in any event.

Social Work, University Of South Carolina Best of luck to everyone who was admitted this cycle. Prayers and good vibes to those also on a waiting list. And for those rejected, we will all get our slot in the program best suited for us. I received a very positive email from the director of the program. There was no update to my portal. I am keeping hope alive.

WGSS, Rutgers University New Brunswick Been waiting for an email back. Finally got a email back from director I was rejected and my rejection was “‘misplaced†and they’re sorry they don’t have a spot for me. Seeing all these post on Rutgers graduate department. I will never reply because they’re extremely unprofessional. Thanks for the opportunity. My decision still isn’t on the portal.

Political Science, Rutgers University New Brunswick I wrote to Rutgers to get information about my application process. They told me that they sent all letters to both accepted and waitlisted students. They said that if I have not received a rejection letter, it could be possible to be accepted or waitlisted, but any new information will be only available on April 15th. In other words, I've been rejected. IR subfield. 2A/5R/2P

English, University Of Pennsylvania Got no email, just checked the portal, so date might be wrong. A little unfortunate I didn't get the email, would've liked to wish them well. Already accepted a great offer elsewhere :) Congrats to all who got in!!
