Biomedical Engineering, University Of North Carolina, Chapel Hill (UNC) To the other UNC poster: Im applying for a different program, but I submitted my application on 12/21, and I also haven't heard anything yet. They have had all my supp. materials for at least 2 full months...

Theatre - Playwriting, University Of Hawaii Admitted, but because of low student turnover this year, no assistantship or tuition waiver (read - "no funding"). Oddly enough, letter was written on 11th, sent on 13th, and I got an email from the costume shop on the 14th and then interviewed with the shop on the 15th. Not sure why I talked about an assistantship with the costume shop after already being denied funding. Maybe all is not lost...

Religious Studies, U Of North Carolina i am now 1 for 7; i am really glad to have that one acceptance and i am doubly glad it is from one my top choices--this whole application process is a joke, or at least random. i wonder whether the schools communicate about whom each program is going to offer admission so that they don't all bump heads over one candidate.

Organizational Behavior, Harvard (business School) a cryptic email... saying that they don't tell the results of an application through email - but they can tell me that at this stage all finalists where already interviewed and a subset of them where offered a place..... if i am not mistaken it means i'm not there...
