Human Factors, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University MS in Experimental Psych (4.0), MS in Aviation (3.7). 12 peer reviewed publications (including in Nature and PNAS), 15 conferences. At this point, I literally don't know what schools want anymore. This is round 12 with 30 targeted schools (all but two have so far already rejected me.) I'm tempted to get a PhD by publication.

Computer Science, Stanford University First off, I want to formally thank my close freinds, advisors, and mentors for believing. I want to especially thank my mom. She worked double shifts just to keep a roof over my sisters and I ever the past few years. Second, I’d like to say FUCK YOU to all the people who said I wasn’t “smart enough†or said my goals were too high for my expectations. Your skepticism and negative treatment only fueled my determination. Third, I’d like to say a special huge GO FUCK YOURSELF to one of my high school teachers and to one of my EECS Professors at Berkeley. Both of you doubted my abilities and underestimated my abilities as a student, particularly highlighting both of my physical and health challenges as a barrier to my success in the engineering field. You thought that being in a wheelchair would prevent me from achieving milestones in my life. You would have never thought a guy in a wheelchair could BOTH get a job at Google w/ a 6-fig salary AND get into Stanford Graduate Engineering school in the same month. WELL GUESS WHAT BITCHES. I DID IT. LOOK WHOSE WINNING NOW. 🖕😤🖕 (mic drop)

Computer Science, Stanford University 3.4 Undergrad GPA | 2 YOE TECH (SWE @ FAANG) | Got an email saying that my status has changed in my Stanford Portal (This was probably the dead giveaway that I was rejected). I checked the update and they gave their generic rejection letter statement. Gratz to all who were accepted!

Clinical Psychology, Florida School Of Professional Psychology, National Louis Recieved an emai this afternoon which I was expecting. Out of all of the programs I interviewed with I liked this one the least by far. The staff felt very cold and extremely idealogically motivated.

Political Science, University Of Toronto Theory Subfield. I have just been notified that I am still on the waitlist. Congratulations to all others who have been accepted! This marks my final application cycle. If you are considering attending other PhD programs, please inform Graduate Admissions as soon as possible. I would greatly appreciate it if those who decline offers would choose other programs. Being placed on the waitlist for my dream school would be quite suffering :)
