Applied Mathematics, Harvard Graduate School Of Engineering And Applied Sciences I just called the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences directly. The secretary informed me that absolutely none of the formal notification letters for SEAS have been mailed out yet. Only some of the admissions decisions have been made, and it is up to individual professors as to whether they notify accepted students through email. The formal notification letters will all be mailed out at the beginning of March. Any postings for Harvard SEAS that claim to have information via postal mail are mistaken.

English, University Of Virginia - Charlottesville Ok, I called UVa English Grad Admissions. They have updated some decisions, but not all of them. I was informed that they are still making decisions and should finalize everyone's status sometime next week. So I guess "Pending" means you are still being considered.

English, University Of Connecticut (storrs) 8-10 accepted; 20 waitlisted. Trying to add a few more PhD slots by getting rid of a few MA lines. The waitlist is *not* ranked - the committee will meet again to discuss all of the waitlisted applicants.

Applied Mathematics, Yale University Yale, this website is quite cruel. We all know that we won't be informed of an acceptance on it. Stop using it. At least send us a form email. 1 acceptance, 3 rejections. Oddly, the acceptance was from a program much better than the rest...

Electrical Engineering And Computer Science (EECS), Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) I'm strongly suspicious my application package is not reviewed by any professor. 3 IEEE trans. and 5 conference paper (not NIPS/ICML, but still good conference), GPA: 4.0, rank: 1/121, one best student paper award, Meritorious Winner of MCM, ...... still rejected...... What are they looking for??? MIT is downgrade itself. I will go to Cambridge anyway. Good luck guys, go another good place and produce excellent work to prove you are better than MIT students. Bless all rejected students from MIT.
