English And Comparative Literature, U Pennsylvania so i know results aren't going to be official till the 16th, but it's driving me crazy trying to predict the outcome of this. it seems this program sends pretty much all rejects/admits (the second round at least) in one dose. gulp.

Anthropology (cultural), New York University (NYU) Asked and answered via email. Dept assistant said all accepted have been notified and letters are going out to the rest of us.

Philosophy, University Of Califonia, Santa Barbara (UCSB) Funding offer from UCSB just came in. Two years of fellowship at $21K, and three years of TAing at $17,5. 90% chance I'll decline, but all that money and all that sun sound awfully nice...

Performance Studies, Northwestern University It was a crushing first rejection, and very impersonal letter after all the work and money that had gone into my application. In retrospect, I appreciate how quickly they let me know so I had clarity abt my options.
