EE, Electrical Engineering, Stanford University I too got a non-funded offer. To the guy who was nominated for SGF today- Did your official email have that statement, or did your prof tell you that you have been nominated? Any idea on whether Stanford has exhausted all their fellowships during the 16-17 feb admit window, and now funding is just dependent on whether those students are rejecting the fellowship offers?

Finance, Yale School Of Management Thank you very much for applying to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Yale University. I regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission. As you know, the very high number of extraordinary candidates among our 10,400 applicants far exceeds the number of places we have in each program, and we are not able to admit many excellent candidates.
We are using this system of electronic notification to communicate with you five to ten days more rapidly than we could by letter and, therefore, help applicants plan their futures quickly and effectively. We wish you every success in all your endeavors.

Statistics, Havard About an hour ago, I called the department and the staff told me that ALL decisions had been made. Delivery of postal mail may take up to a week in the states. And I have not received any either (AZ).

(Historical) Linguistics, University Of Georgia I have a B.A. in Greek and an M.A. in Classics with a 3.8 grad GPA. With my low GRE scores and a less than stellar undergrad GPA, I did not have high hopes of getting accepted. I believe I was accepted on the basis of my recommendations, personal statement, writing sample and my extensive background in Greek, Latin and Sanskrit. So for all of you who don't have high GRE scores, keep your hopes up! Best of luck and don't give up!

Urban & Regional Planning, University Of Waterloo Not Sad at all. Since it is not highly regarded university and program. I applied to it just in case I did not get acceptance from respected names univ such as University of Toronto, McGill, University of Calgary, UBC. By the way, professors are having their business in Chinese language. So weird!

Accounting, Foster School Of Business To the person that posted about all slots being filled at UW, I do not believe this information is accurate. I just spoke with Dr. Shevlin about tax and it sounds like they are still reviewing applications. Please indicate your source, and whether this applies strictly to your intended concentration.

Accounting, MIT Sloan School Of Management To the MIT poster below, I did get the same e-mail, and so did one of the other applicants i have been talking to. Either people here are lying or you are confusing the operations research program(outside MIT Sloan) with Operations Mgmg program(within MITSloan). Or propbably the school might have made some if not all decisions.

English (Literary Studies), Marquette University One of the vaguest, but meanest rejections I've ever had the displeasure of receiving: "Admission decisions are based on the strength of each applicant's academic record, including test scores, letters of recommendation, and all other required credentials. Unfortuantely, your application does not meet our admission requirements in at least one of these areas." Though not my top choice, I think I'd have been happy here, but who knows? Good luck all.
