Electrical Engineering And Information Technology, ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute Of Technology Top Canadian school. 3x summers of research in nanophotonics/plasmonics/electromagnetics. 1x industry internship at well-known semiconductor company. 1x strong LoR, 2x half-decent ones. Firmware/electrical experience through design team throughout undergrad. I got rejected from ETH quantum engineering, ETH computational science, and EPFL electrical engineering. Glad I made it here. I think I had a really strong statement, cuz my GPA is definitely on the lower side of the admitted people.

Two publications in high-ranking journals. Two strong recommendation letters for which one of the professors did his undergraduate in ETH.

Electrical Engineering And Information Technology, ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute Of Technology 3 Industry Internships, 2 Research Internships (no Publication), 2 TA Positions, Top 5% from an average European university, good extracurricular activities, 1 LoR from well known Prof who has collaborations with ETH Profs, 1 LoR from the Dean of my study program I was missing prerequisites in physics and maths ( nearly 30KP) but got accepted without additional requirements Also got accepted at EPFL, will probably go to ETH though

Computer Science, ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute Of Technology Weak SoP, didn’t talk about myself enough. One LoR from my thesis and internship supervisor. Another letter from a fairly known professor with whom I did extra curricular stuff. A third letter was also sent.

Data Science, ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute Of Technology 1 very strong LoR, 1 pretty good LoR. Mathematics undergrad, two research internships and 1 year of work experience for a data team. Some good extracurriculars such as head of the student association and international competitions in competitive programming.

Data Science, ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute Of Technology 3 strong LoRs, strong motivation letter, IELTS 7.5 (R: 9.0, L: 7.0, W:7.0, S:6.5), several extracurricular experiences in Data Science, and won several local competitions. ESOP requested (I think it means they still have to give me feedback for the scholarship. Can someone please confirm?)
