Robotics, University Of Pennsylvania British undergrad with CS background from University of Edinburgh, 85% average. Lots of relevant internships (FAANG, HFT etc.). Published a book on robotics. Undergrad research but no science publications at the time of writing. No GRE. Fully funded through an external scholarship

Computer Science, University Of Pennsylvania 3rd gen IIT (8.5+ CGPA), 324 in GRE. Decent to strong LoRs. Quite personalized SoP listing potential advisors and research projects. No pubs but 9 months of part-time research experience in ML applications. 6 months of ongoing work exp at an MNC at the time of applying. I guess applying for early decision is better. Congrats to all the admits! Rejects: don't worry, there's another door of opportunity waiting!

Computer Science, University Of Pennsylvania I applied to CGGT. From an intermedium university in China (Computer Science is among the top of China's univs nonetheless). One paper (second author) and one poster (first author) related to Computer Graphics.
