  • "Your application for admission to the Cornell Ph.D Program in Economics for the Fall of 2019 semester has been given careful consideration by the Graduate Admission Committee. We regret to inform you that your application has not been approved. The number of students who can be accepted is limited and, as the overall quality of applications is very high, it is not possible to offer admission to many excellent students who would like to work here. We appreciate your interest in Economics and wish you success in continuing your studies elsewhere. "

  • Accepted into the MEng program. I was very interested in this program due to it only being a year, but I decided to pursue an M.S. degree elsewhere to avoid complications in case I desire a PhD in the future. Awesome school. Awesome degree. Will not be attending. Good luck guys! :)

  • To the post below, for funded MSCS program at Cornell, I searched previous years results and they don't look good. There were way too few notifications regardless of the result, and they all came in April (like 3rd and 4th ish). As far as I know there are many schools such as CMU want the decision to be made before that time, so I probably won't sacrifice some amazing choices to just bet on this one.
