Computer Science, University Of Wisconsin-Madison ıelts 7, ee master with gpa 3.79 from top uni in my country, 4 paper ( wacv, eccv w,spie, and siu-local), undergrad ee valedictorian from third best uni in my country. I do not understand how competetive this programs are. I think they expect us to write paper on top tier conference for admittance.

Computer Science, University Of Wisconsin-Madison Generic rejection by email. Apparently over 1900 applicants. Had already realized that I was rejected when I did not receive an acceptance along with others last week.

Computer Science, University Of Wisconsin-Madison No GRE. Conducted research my first 2 years of undergrad (1st experience was non-STEM). No papers but was cited in supervisor's dissertation. 3 strong letters (Research professor, teaching professor and supervisor from a 1 year STEM job experience I had in college). Very specific interest (digital privacy) which I made pretty clear in my SoP. No interview.

Communication Arts (Communication Science), University Of Wisconsin-Madison Hi! Anyone heard back from UWM (CS)?! Acceptances for other tracks have been sent out from what I can see, but no news about CS? Does anyone know. I am feeling pretty anxious at this point :/
