Computer Science, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst (UMASS) to the person who posted about UMASS below n to everyone waiting on UMASS. Yes "pending" means a "reject". I called those ppl the night they changed my status from "applied" to "pending". The lady on the phone told me in clear words I m not recommended for admission and in 2 hours changed my status from "applied" to "pending". Morons.

Computer Science, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst (UMASS) The website status just changed to 'pending' from 'applied'. NOW, I'm nervous! "Your application has been forwarded to the graduate faculty in your desired program of study for their consideration. At the present time the Graduate Admissions Office is awaiting the conclusion of that review process. A decision in regard to your application should be forthcoming very shortly."
