The timing of the mail is slightly odd.

We are writing to inform you that your MS Program Application is still under review ... anticipates to conclude all final reviews for the MS Program by April 25th. Is this a good thing or are they just slow?

Did anybody contact the department about results? I have not seen rejects being posted here. Is it late enough to loose all hope :( :( Thinking about accepting my other admit offer.

It was my safe school. Still surprised. Have acceptance from better schools, so not too worried.

No interview. Got an email for visit day.

To the UCSD asking mails to csegradinfo-ms@ucsd below: I mailed to csegradinfo-phd@ucsd two days ago, and I have not received any feedback yet. However, I did received an auto-replied mail stated as below: The CSE Department receives approximately 5,500 applications annually. Admission is competitive and we select a small pool of applicants for both the PhD and MS programs. All admission decisions are final. There are currently no waitlists or second reviews for declined applications at this time. Due to the large volume of requests, the department is not able to provide feedback on specific application decisions. The application for Fall 2019 graduate admission is now closed and will reopen in September 2019. All applicants can expect to hear from the CSE Department regarding your application decision by April 2019. I believe that you received the same mail too. I guess that they will not reply any other mails asking about admission status. Good luck to you!
