Totally Unexpected! One International Internship! Two first author publications! Really Happy!

Thought I had a good chance with a lot of industry experience. Devastated

Yeah, it was a little unusual that the results were sent out so late at night, but it's real. All the accepted students should have gotten an email signed by James Landay and Jayanthi Subramanian tonight. Given that it arrived precisely at midnight in CA, I think it may have been a scheduled email. Congrats to all who were accepted.

2 years working experience in several top banks, currently worked as a Data Analyst in one of the FLAG companies. First Honour(highest distinction) Degree in top 3 undergrad school from Asia, Strong LOR from professors and manager. One thesis paper with A+ score. Applied HCP part time but got rejected. Anyway congrats to all who get the offer!

Undergrad in CS from IIT with 9.35 CG. 5 publications in top journals and conferences. Rejected from Maryland and UIUC earlier so this was expected.

Undergrad from IIT. Expected result. Just wanted to try my luck because of profs working on almost same things as my intern :P

Top 10 CS undergrad. 4 semesters of teaching experience. 2 years software/research after undergrad. Several physics/CS minor publications. Course Assistantship covers up to 10 credits of tuition. Feel so lucky :) Good luck to everyone. (Got the email at ~3 pm Pacific Time, went to spam folder...)

To all masters applicants to Stanford, what is a good indicator that we are getting in. If we have not been interviewed, is this bad?
