Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) Selected Interview because there is no "Other" option. I want to add one more line to the question asked by the previous poster. The portal states: "You can log into this website in early March to see our admissions decision." Does that mean all decisions are still not out? Or we should expect only rejections as status updates here?

Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) Chinese female who did her undergrad in the U.S. Got a lot of attention from professors during the interview but was ultimately waitlisted. Maybe I don't have the highest GPA but I have a lot of interest in the field and a killer life story.

Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) TTPB: Saying good luck has no consequence on another's admittance. It's courtesy. And acceptance into these programs is often based on luck. You could be completely qualified and get rejected. Often, admissions committees make mistakes. How many people get admitted each year, how many finish their PhD and how many are successful at research? You honestly don't think acceptance into this program means your H-index is guaranteed to break 100, let alone 50. There's always a bell curve, or more fittingly a pareto distribution with grad student quality. ;) Hope you're the latter.
