Graduate School Admission Results

Did any have idea about GaTech CSE status? Mine has been changed to department decision has made on portal. But I didn't see any letter and didn't receive anything from the department. Is that a silent rej?

The Computer Science graduate program is extremely competitive and can only enroll a small number of the applicants for each year. For the upcoming academic year we received over 3000 applications and are able to admit less than 10% of applicants. After a careful review, I am sorry to report that we are unable to admit you this year.

Just received email at 840 ask to check website after 5pm today

Just got word from my POI. All offers have gone out, everyone who hasn't heard back is either rejected or on the waitlist.

To the poster below, same here. I have received two negative replies from two profs and the others never responded. If this is how they give rejections to internationals, this is so f***ing bad manner and inappropriate. They should be blamed for this case if they are going to give rejections in this way.

Guys I was the first one to post the specialization question below - I have NO official news/source/mail which says that they are actually rolling out based on the spec. It was just a guess and hence I asked whether anyone from my area(Interactive Intelligence) heard back. But apparently, no one has. Also, like asked below - does anyone know if we are allowed to change the specialization after going there?

Limited my decisions down to Columbia, Harvard, and GT. Didn't have any publications, but volunteered at 3 conferences, led a workshop, ton of leadership experience, 5 internships, 1 2nd-author publication in submission, bachelor's thesis, 2 minors, 3 TA positions, won some hackathons, 7k in research funding, 1 insane LOR + 2 mediocre, focused research SOP for computer vision
