Thank you for your application to our CS department. While the review process is officially still ongoing, we are writing to inform you that most of our decisions have already been made and accepted applicants have been notified. I regret to inform you that we will not be able to offer admission to the Ph.D. program in Computer Science at the University of Texas.

Got into UCI but not UCSB...

To the guy whow asked: I am from Peking Univ. China.Poor GT, gpa rank 1/48, 11 papers(6 first author; 9 sci, 2 ei). I got interviewed by two professors many times from Feb. and they all wanted to give me offer, and they discussed and decided to co-advise me. with ta, 17000/year, and summer position, 4900. totally nearly 22000/year. the professors decide everything, the committee has no power, so please connect the prof. directly.
