The Computer Science Department received over 1100 applications this year, and our program can support only a small number of new students. Unfortunately, this means that there were many highly qualified applicants we could not admit to our program.

Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University Rejected for both LTI Ph.D. and MLT. 1 first-author EMNLP paper, 2 ArXiv preprints. Research internships in industry & universities, one of them at MSR. 3 strong LoR, 2 from well-known research advisors, 1 from MSR internship mentor.

Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University CV- Robotics institute. Kind of expected. 1 workshop paper 1yr research experience. 2 papers under review. At least gives closure. Others are dead silence. Congratulations to everyone who got in.
