Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University Received request for interview last week, interviewed yesterday. Interviewed by a faculty listed on app, although the interview was for the department as a whole. CMU admits people to the department, and then matches advisors. Expect to hear back mid-late Feb. Bless.

Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University Got an admission from Chris Dyer for the NLP group. Was in contact for the past 2 months. Although he is not taking any students, he made an exception.

Material Science And Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University I have not heard from Northwestern yet. I emailed them yesterday and they wrote back to me saying that they haven't made all the offers yet as of 22nd march. Have you guys heard from NU yet? so anxious.. the decisions are quite late compared to previous years.
