Religious Studies, University Of Chicago Status was updated to portal without email notification. The program required all applicants to have a Masters so it goes without saying that the pool was competitive! Congrats to those who got in! Trusting the process because this cycle seems to have been brutal for everyone. Stay strong and know that this is not the end of the world!

Religion, Harvard University Honestly, I didn't stand a chance what with my socio-economic background, disadvantages, I didn't go to the best schools, etc. Well, it was nice to dream for a bit. Maybe one day my kid will get in and finally break our generational curse of poverty.

Religion, Princeton University 0 a/ 2 w/ 2 r/ 0 pending Two rejections in a week, one from Religion program at Princeton and Anthropology program at Duke. Kinda expected as I didn't anything from them for a long time. All hopes now reposed on two waitlist status, one from Middle Eastern program at NYU and Cultural Anthropology at CUNY. If any person is willing to give up their seat for these two program, let me know and do it asap. If there is anyone who is familiar with admission cycle in these schools, let me know previous trends with wait list status, etc

Religious Studies, University Of Virginia I got an email telling me to check my application portal. The message said "Your application to the Religious Studies program was highly regarded by the faculty. You have been placed on an admission waitlist and are a candidate for that program should an opening become available. You will be notified once a final decision regarding your application has been reached." So now I wait...
