Graduate School Admission Results

The status has changed to Update pending for me too. Stats are 323 GRE and 7.7 GPA from Tier-2 institute in India. Could others share their stats too! And what do they think if it's a reject wave or not?

I am the girl from the first post above. But yeah, let's hope it's an admit. It can be a technical error because the mail clearly says a formal decision letter will be issued in 1-2 days.

TTP(s)B: Same. Status changed to update pending yesterday. I received an email half an hour back about an update but it still shows Update Pending. Is there any chance it will be an acceptance?

To the guy who posted about recieving a mail from UMass below. Same, I too have been waiting for update pending to change to an admit/reject since yesterday and recieved a mail a few minutes ago

TTPB: Have not heard back either!! I think it is a waitlist at best now. things will change as we push through the last 3 excruciating weeks of this admission cycle. Hopefully, they send their decisions soon. Have you opted in PhD/MS option?

The person who got selected to WashU. Where are you from? and are you accepting the offer?

They said due to high demand and competition this year, I only few made it.

Asked (before 3/15 deadline) for my PhD app to be considered for masters after long time w/ no decision. 5 days after asking, was sent an email telling me to check portal. 2 papers, great LORs. Easily one of my top choices overall, so super-hyped. Good luck everybody!

GPA conditional offer, no funding. I was given two days to accept or reject.

Got an email that said got rejected for CS and they think I have a “strong application” for MS in Computer Engineering so they want to consider me for that. Not sure...

The wait is driving me crazy!!! It seems like almost all of the acceptances and rejections have been for masters students, too. When will they get to PhD applicants? :(

No GRE. No Interview.

Received an email saying there was an update to my status page. Status page updated to say I was accepted. No word yet about assistantships. 3.8 GPA from a state school, 2 publications (1 at REU research conference, 1 at journal by university).
