Graduate School Admission Results

CS Department admit. Waiting for graduate office letter. Are all the admits(MS-CS) here departmental or somebody received university admit too?

To the poster below, some say the graduate office letter might take upto 3 weeks to come. Not sure if we need to send any documents( ex. transcripts) in between..

To the poster below, yes, i mentioned db and se specialization in my sop although my admit mail was a generic MS-CS admit.

Does anyone know if Georgia Tech is still sending out acceptances for MS? According to last year they sent out admits till the end of March, but as of right now, the admits have slowed down to almost none. Can anybody shed some light into this?

GaTech is killing me with the suspense. They rolled out admits in bulk early March but have stopped all of a sudden. Now, I am trying to stay optimistic but as the days roll by, I am beginning to lose hope. When was the last time any of you heard from them?

They FINALLY got around to sending out a rejection. Not a problem, I ruled them out a while ago.

Portal status changed to 'Dept. Decision Made'. Brace yourselves for mass rejects tomorrow, people.

Also says Dept. Decision Made, we're done for :(

Still before April? There is still hope, people.

Not much to hope for as everyone I know who applied here have had their statuses changed.

It says dept decision made. Is this a sign of rejection? Seems many people have this status. Hence worried.

Got the same email asking me to check the status after 5pm EST. If so many of us are getting it does this mean it is the day of mass rejects? Why torture us like this? Put the decision and ask us to check later

Even I got a mail to check after 5pm EST which has already passed right? Also not able to see any decisions tab in the status check
