Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

I'm the poster below who got an interview. I have just declined the offer of admission. Best of luck to you all!

Was called by the department to say that they wanted to accept me first over the phone because of it being so late in the semester because they had so many applicants to get through. Also said I would be getting a formal letter.

Thought I had a chance to make the wait list but guess not! Can others please share their stats? Thanks in advance.

Could others please share their stats? I am hoping to be pulled off the waitlist and have been accepted to other competative programs but want to attend NSU. How big is the grad class? Does anyone know if other students will be declining their offers?

I got an e-mail saying I was rejected. USF accepted me though, good luck to everyone else out there. Wherever you get accepted take it because it is getting way more competitive each year!

To the UVa posters below: The reason you haven't heard anything yet is because UVa blows. If you have acceptances elsewhere, take them! One of the rudest departments to date. I rejected their offer of admission because of the general "I'm trying to be ivy-league" attitude. You're not, so get off your high-horse.

Rejected off waitlist today. Not surprised, as I was number 25 of 30 on the waitlist.

To the poster below-You're not alone. I haven't heard back either!

Has anyone STILL not heard back at all?? I have no idea what my application status is.. this is seriously ridiculous and very rude of the department. I have contacted several people about this and no one has yet to provide any helpful information or insight. BEYOND frustrated!!

This was my first time hearing from Hunter since I submitted my app in February. I didn't have an interview so I don't know why it took them so many months just to give me a rejection. They didn't even have the courtesy to tell me my decision was ready, so it had been up for days before I realized.

I called to find out when they were going to notify the remaining people on the wait list. The lady said we should know by Wednesday if we are accepted or rejected. For those of you who haven't heard anything, there is still a chance! Good luck!

Have decided to attend this school. Will be moving down from Canada. I am looking for a room mate if anyone else is. Also wondering if there is a facebook group or anything for this program so we can all meet. (sarahloo1@aol.com)

I e-mailed the dept of grad admissions letting them know I have opportunities pending response. I was sent an e-mail back saying that my application is under review and I will be notified as soon as possible. >:(

I received a call stating I had been accepted. IM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
