Multi-disciplinary Gender Studies, University Of Cambridge Got an unofficial email about being unsuccessful yesterday and the portal reflected the outcome today. Didn't get any specific explanation for it, but suspect that they could not accommodate my research interest. Fingers crossed for those waiting!

Gender, University Of Arizona I received an email stating that I was waitlisted but invited to recruitment fair in mid March. There were 47 applicants and they only had slots to fund 3 students. Big congrats to those accepted!!

PhD Law, London School Of Economics & Political Science (LSE) Rejected without interview. LLM with Distinction from LSE. Received the standard rejection and another e-mail suggesting me to apply for the PhD in Gender Studies as my proposal was about feminist legal theory. My guess is that the intersection between feminism and legal theory is lacking at the moment in LSE and I only got one professor to support my application (You need to have 2 professors as your supervisors that support your application). I was accepted by Oxford for their DPhil in Law and I am currently waiting to hear about funding from them.

Gender, Race, Sexuality, And Social Justice, University Of British Columbia I received an email from the chairperson and told me that I did not make it to the cut as there were only 2 people admitted for the PhD program. This is because of the limited funding they got for graduate students. Also, they let me know that there was a 30% increase in applications.
