Graduate School Admission Results

I did research in the field during undergrad, have a significant amount of volunteer experience and community involvement, and LORs from professors who know me well. I am not sure if I will accept admission yet, I am still waiting to hear from other schools. Good luck to everyone!

Masters of the environment at the Nicholas school, energy and environment program!

Exchanged emails with potential POI all the way back in October who expressed interest in taking me into his group. But didn't hear anything since and got rejected today.

General rejection, did not receive an interview

Mass rejection email.

GPA is grad. As other applicant said, kind of a waitlist. 1a/1w/2r/4p

Not quite a waitlist. They stated "we have made initial offers of admission (including funded offers and those who are on our initial wait-list)" and I am on reserve in case those offers do not work out. In other words, there is little to no chance of getting in.

Email from PI saying the person they offered admission to accepted it

Got a nice email saying I got in! I applied January 1st and got accepted February 23rd. Funding information will be released later, but the email encouraged us to find other sources of funding as well. I applied to the Biostatistics track btw.
