I am sorry to inform you that you were not among those selected for admission by this program." // More than 10 years of teaching experience, three master's degrees with academic excellence scholarship, best GPA of my generation at undergrad and grad, research and professional relevant experience, two prominent international leadership awards, strong LORs, and a prestigious international scholarship for the PhD. I just can ask myself, "Why not?". I am tired, really exhausted.

I feel that Sociology may be somewhat closed off to individuals with diverse educational backgrounds. Despite being accepted into other equally competitive programs in both the previous and current admissions cycles, I have yet to receive even a waitlist offer from any Sociology program.
