No CS background (degree), couple of Computational and Machine Learning Projects, 1 publication in Elsevier, 8.85/10, tier 1 uni from India

No GRE

Ignore WL. Emailed the admissions department and got this reply: "We are unable to provide an exact date of when your application decision will be available nor can we expedite the application review process. Applications are reviewed by a small admissions committee. The review process typically requires 6-8 weeks after the priority deadline date for a decision to be provided. Be assured, you will be notified of the result of your application review as soon as possible." The priority deadline was Jan 15 and 8 weeks since then is Mar 12. It's been 12 weeks now and still no response :/

ignore wl. TTPB: Do u know what does it mean by 'graduate student strikes'? Does it mean there are too many applicants or is there something else happening?

Ignore Waitlist. Just heard back from the admissions director. They are currently struggling with graduate student strikes and will likely send out results by the end of April.

Ignore waitlist. TTPB: To the one who posted regrading decision between Upenn and Columbia Data Science. Can you tell which university you are inclined towards and why?

Ignore Waitlist. I haven't heard back at all. I applied by October and the application went to review in Feb mid. I still haven't heard anything. they never respond to mails or attend calls.

BS Math(Hindu College, DU), MS Math(IIT-B) with low CGPA. Indian. 3 years DS experience.

TTPB: ignore WL. I've heard that they are expecting a class size of 175. The number of admissions they send should be a much larger number.

Ignore the WL: Does anyone have a rough estimate of the class size for Fall 21, and how many have been already admitted?

Ignore wl. Just wondering for those admitted, are your TOEFL/GRE scores on the portal marked as unofficial or official?

ignore wl TTPB: I think the applications are still under review since someone earlier mentioned the email from admissions saying they will get decisions out through early April. And i think most of the ppl who got rejected don't feel like posting it anyways lol

Ignore the WL, I'm wondering will all the pending applications be rejected? Since just haven't seen one rejection so far.

Received a reply from admission committee : "Applications are still under review. We expect to get decisions out through early April. Thanks for your continued patience. "

TTPB: When did you apply/get the email that your app was being reviewed? I haven't heard back yet after applying pre priority deadline.

An email that told to check the portal. Received the email at 5:54 PM on Monday, March 22. They want a deposit of $4,000 within 2 weeks.

Dual Degree B.Tech Chemical Engg. and M.Tech Data Sciences from IIT-M. CGPA: 8.9/10.

Ignore WL; TTBP I am also yet to hear from them. Had applied before the first deadline.
