Not shocked lol definitely a reach school, especially since there were over 400 applicants. Congrats to those who got in!

Ignore the waitlist. TTPB: I emailed them a couple of days ago and they responded with a generic email, part of which said 'we do not admit unfunded students into our phd program'. So, I guess they will not process anything unless a faculty recommends an applicant.

Accepted but No funding.

Ignore waitlist. Have you guys heard anything from UF? My portal still shows pending processing. When I called admissions their answer was that they don't even know when they'll BEGIN processing, which means they have not even started processing. I don't know whats going on. This seems so deceiving.

To the poster asking about UF BCN: I was accepted Feb 12, received notice of additional funding fellowship yesterday (03/12)

To the other poster, this is on the UF English website: "Admissions announcements are expected after the second week of March 2021. Those with offers have until April 15 to accept or decline the offer. Those placed on a waitlist may be offered space, if a funded space becomes available, anytime from late March until late April"

Not a waitlist. Has anybody heard from them? I applied back in January and still no word. It is my last hope

Hoping that a spot opens for me.

Email reject. Kind of expected, had been admitted to the Master's program before and decided to attend another University instead, previously. Still a late reject.

Admitted to ME

Out of field applicant, but I completed a prerequisites program. I received the email today and will most likely be accepting! Apparently they are sending them throughout this week and possibly into next week.
