Graduate School Admission Results

Email to check portal. Quite disappointed bc I thought I had a strong profile (recent internship at UN, background in polisci and IR, speak multiple languages, etc.).

Waitlisted! Straight out of undergraduate studies but worked at the same time. 2 years research experience in policy analysis, 1.5 years professional work experience in data analytics, multiple extra-curricular and leadership positions. Strong SOP and LORs (I think!), did not submit GRE. 4a/0r/2w/2p

was just accepted into the MPH(Public Health) program today via email. I believe I heard early because I am already an MPP(Public Policy) student, they said official acceptance emails will be going out soon. Also, if you are waiting to hear back from Public Policy, they said all official decisions will be completely sent out by Friday :)

GRE optional. 3 strong LORs at least 2 of which were ~3 pages long. Strong Statement of Purpose and Personal History. Strong volunteer experience in the non-profit sector. No publications; straight out of undergrad. I think what made me stand out as a candidate was my consistency in both work and extracurricular environments -- all of them have consistently lined up with my personal values which provided good substance for my SOP and PH (my focus is educational policy). I also have a strong quantitative background doing a double major in Data Science and Political Science. I received $15k each for Y1 and Y2 and only applied to UC Berkeley.

Disappointed. Not only did I put a lot of work into the application but had to pay that hefty 125. Experience interning federally and working at an international non-profit during my gap year I guess wasn't enough.

Disappointed yet glad they actually exist. Received email to check portal. No GRE. Received scholarships to other T-10 school so it's all good. Waiting on Columbia!

I have not been contacted yet. Has anyone heard anything from them? I understand we must accept/decline any admissions by april 15 if that is the case right?

Canadian, strong reference letters + lab and policy experience but did an interdisciplinary science degree which I suspect wasn't quantitative enough

BA with first-degree honours, around 8 years of course-related work experience, minor national publications. Bocconi wasn't my first choice and I am kind of surprised to get a rejection. Good luck!

Got accepted to Cornell but really wanted MIT :(

That was a long (and very good) shot. 3 years in the Industry, Dual Degree, and 4 strong LoRs. I did not get the offer though!

no GRE, limited research experience, some work experience, good quantitative experience, amazing LOR's
