Graduate School Admission Results

Feels good to finally here from Columbia. Congrats to those who were accepted. Looking forward to exploring more options and other degrees. It seems there are lots of ways to learn and get into data science work.

Constantly checking email and portal with hope of some notification is driving me crazy. Any idea by when they will sending all the notifications ? it's quite late now :-(

Same boat here, I'm going crazy as well.

Is there anyone who is still waiting for columbia? Has they stopped giving admits? Is there even an iota of hope left?

To the two posts below.. I'm exactly in the same boat as you guys!! P.S. I currently have NO AD at all!! Extremely frustrated every day! :(

If they are going to reject the application anyways, why this long wait and torture. Endless wait

I posted "Same boat here, I'm going crazy as well." I also have no AD, this is literally my last hope... I should've applied to more than 4 programs and some safeties in hindsight. But these are the programs I'm interested in, I don't think I want to go somewhere else anyway.. I really don't want to wait another year for grad school... gahhh

Still no notification from them. Why are they taking so long? With every single day passing i'm getting more and more worried.

Emailed to check status and they got back that I was not accepted. Good luck to whoever is still waiting!!

They said during an info session that it is not chronological. Nothing was to be reviewed until after the submission deadline passed. It took 1 week to get a response about the delay. Still under review...

Can't really believe my eyes. After the long wait I almost gave up. Will probably go since my only other AD is kinda..... strange. MSIT-SE in CMU where you don't seems to be taught hardcore computer science stuff.

Any idea by when they will send out all the notifications(admit/reject)? Shall I give up on Columbia now ?

Is columbia done with the admits? I haven't seen any in weeks. I mailed the university and they replied stating you'll be notified once the decision is made. Anyone still waiting for Columbia,please share.

To the poster below asking about track, i applied to AI,ML track and submitted my application around December. Still waiting to hear from them, seems like a reject to me :-(

Been working for 8 years as a programmer. Apparently the decision was made on April 5, but I received the email on April 12. Good luck to the rest of the applicants.

To the rejects posts below, has they started sending mass rejects? Hopeless :-(
