Graduate School Admission Results

Lots of research, volunteer, and work experience. GRE: 148 quant, 156 verbal, 4.0 writing. GPA is 4.0 in my major and 3.85 total

GRE: 304 total, GPA in major: 4.0, overall GPA: 3.8. Lots of research and work experience. I only had one letter of rec from a professor and two from former employers who are SLPs.

Interviewed today and heard back with an acceptance 8 hours later! Very excited!

I will be accepting!

Got an email today with acceptance! 3.79 post-bacc, research with COMD professor, worked in a prison to tutor inmates with reading and writing, spent past two years tutoring diverse populations of students, volunteer with individuals who have aphasia. When I did my interview, I didn't feel like it went the best because I wasn't able to talk about everything that I am involved in but apparently it went better than I expected!

It was a reach haha. GRE scores weren't anything special. Congratulations to everyone!!

I received an email at 5:18 pm that an admission decision is available. I logged into my portal and clicked on "status update." I clicked it, and to my surprise saw the confetti coming down my acceptance letter! I completely BOMBED my GRE's but I maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout undergraduate, research experience, and multiple clinical volunteer opportunities and a statement of purpose that I dedicated roughly 4 months to editing until I felt like I had a solid, strong one. Congratulations to everyone who got accepted!! For those who are waiting to hear back, I was told that there will be some variations when it comes to the release of admissions decisions because TC does not release them all at once!
