Major GPA: 4.0; Cumulative GPA: 3.75; GRE: Mediocre.

Rejected from PhD program, admitted to MA program (no funding offered). 4.0 GPA in MA POSC, 3.75 GPA in BA POSC/Sociology, 3.5 GPA in BSc Comp Sci, three strong letters, positive interactions with faculty members. I really don't know why I even checked the "consider me for MA" box, morbid curiosity?

After a number of these, it's more numbness, less existential crisis

Rejected for PhD. Offered MA.

Rejected from PhD, but accepted to Masters program. Already accepted to more than one PhD program of similar ranking...

Received a phone call from POI. Super happy!

To the person who interviewed, best of luck to you! I have not been asked to interview so I am assuming that I am out of the running. Do you know how many were interviewed and when the final decision will be made?
