Graduate School Admission Results

TTPB: I am getting a system error when checking my status, which means they are probably changing it to 'Update Pending'. I do not see any acceptance letter on the 'Graduate Applicant Center' page, so as much as I'd like to believe that both of us are getting admits, it could go either way. Fingers crossed. Not waitlist. Just saw update pending on portal. Does everyone have that? Will it be rejects only now?

Are all the admits out? Or still to come? Any info on MSCS degree??

Not waitlist. Just wanted to let everyone know that their application instructions say that all the CICS PhD decisions have come out and Masters decisions will be out by March 15.

So is UMass done sending admits?

TTPB: I have applied for the MS/PhD program and haven't heard anything. At this point, there is very little chance that we will hear anything positive. They already had the candidate day on 4-5 March. If you have applied for the MS/PhD track, you will be considered for the MS track. 3rd tier India Uni., 9.34/10 CGPA, 5 month research experience, AL/ML centered SOP, One good ongoing project, One international paper in review

Status changed to "Update Pending" this morning and got admit by afternoon. From a tier 3 university in India, Good GPA, Strong LOR, Strong research experience with 2 international papers in top conferences (one single other and another 3rd author). GRE 167Q/150V/3.5A, GPA 8.41/10.

Does anyone happen to know if all MS/PhD decisions are out by now?

No update yet. Just a question, Anybody who applied for MS in CS with Concentration in Security got acceptance?

I received this email from UMass Amherst one day after I received the acceptance letter: "Umass Amherst Visa Sponsorship Fall 2021" Why does it say sponsorship? Are they going to sponsor all our visa costs? "Since you have indicated that you are a non-U.S. citizen or resident, you will need visa sponsorship from our office. Complete the following steps to request your visa document. "

Got an update from the website. No email.

Can we expect any more admits from UMass-A, or only rejects?

Can anyone open spire currently? I didn't receive an email and there is no update pending for ma last I checked. Seems like the admits are out. Are only rejections left now?

Didn't receive an email but checked SPIRE after seeing the trend on gradcafe. Status changed to "Update Pending" two days back. Yesterday, I got a blank screen. After an hour, I checked again, and saw the acceptance letter. Feeling grateful. Congrats to all the admits!

Already put a post below. For people who are getting a blank page do not worry. My page went blank for a few hours twice: when status changed from update pending to accepted and after accepting letter.

Opened the portal Just to check and found the admit. Still haven't received any mail regarding the same.

Was finally able to login to the portal. For anyone else who saw a blank page when they logged into SPIRE: clear browser cache or go incognito
