Your file is strong, but our admissions team did not place it in our highest priority list. We have an extremely limited budget for international students, so these positions are very competitive. Disregard the status. Has anybody heard back from UofT Mathematics Departament regarding PhD in pure mathematics?

Attended the open house on 2/15-16.

Email to check portal. My day is absolutely ruined. As expected, but still. Almost rejected everywhere with a lot of waitlists. Decent GPA and research experiences but no pub as an undergrad. That's probably why!
