Canadian domestic student ( my alma mater)

I am a previous poster. I received an email from the graduate program saying that first round of offers are out and my file will be kept open.

To posters below, how do you that you are waitlisted? Do they explicitly tell you so? I emailed them, they say that my app is active but not saying anything about my app being in the waitlist. I don't know if I am in the waitlist or not...

Was rejected but told application will be kept in case others don't accept. Most likely no acceptance.

Any news from UBC MA Politics? I see the other acceptances but I haven't heard anything, just like the comment from last year.

An email to check the portal! PDF document of decision after clicking into the application. Very surprised yet very happy. Was rejected by 4 direct entry US PhD programs I had applied to as a current undergrad.
