Graduate School Admission Results

Hello, has anyone from Graphics and Vision specialization received any acceptance letter yet? Also, what is the chance of sending further acceptance letter from MIT EECS?

Ignore "Waitlist." Did anyone with a research focus in Computer Vision receive an acceptance? Wondering if all the acceptances have been sent out or will they be sent out over the coming week or so like 2020?

4 Conference pubs (3 accepted, 1 in-review), 1 workshop pub in top CS conference, 4 very strong LORs (My POI knows one of them + knows one of my co-authors for a paper). I think my main strength was the strong research fit with my POI. Had a few interviews (which is not normal for MIT EECS, but my POI wanted it). My undergraduate is MechE, not CS. Like others here, I received the acceptance email at 4:30pm EST.

Area: Speech/NLP. Undergrad from outside of USA, strong LoR, four 1st-author publications (3 conference / 1 under review), no internships. An informal chat with POI about two weeks ago. TOEFL scores never appeared on the app portal.

Interview a week ago from non-POI, said not guarantee admission but profile ranks well. Got email 4:30pm Jan 28.

Area: ML/AI. Talked with PoI at conference before applying. Major GPA: 3.94, lower cum GPA caused by extenuating circumstances, but it's been 4.0 for the past two years of undergrad. T5 CS school with Research Fellowship, research featured in places like ArsTechnica/SlashDot. Collaborated with a very well-known cyber security website to manage a data breach.
