Graduate School Admission Results

My first choice, and the first school I've heard back from. This will be a long month.

To the person asking about the high waitlist, in my portal letter they said "you are among the group that we are most likely to contact about your interest in filling a place in our program". They did not tell me what number I was on the waitlist!

I will likely accept. Nervous but excited!

Just got accepted! I have a 3.3 total and a 3.5 CSD gpa. CSDCAS computed my overall gpa to a 3.24 because of a repeated class. Don't stress if your gpa showed up on your application a little lower than it actually is! I also had 50+ observation hours, an upward trend in my grades (straight A's last semester) and my interview went very well. I also applied on January 1st and interviewed on February 5th. Good luck everyone!!

Denied. This was my top school so I'm really disappointed. GPA: 3.67 GRE: Q: 145 V: 151 AW: 5

Average scores/GPA but 2 summers volunteering in a rehab hospital, 2 research lab volunteer positions. Teaching assistant work study and summer childcare positions, 2 summers as a medical assistant as well. I would also say I had strong letters of rec since I was close with my professors. Super excited!!!

To the person who said they are placed on the high waitlist- how did you figure out your # on the waitlist?

To the poster below. I've been doing the same thing. However I remember the first email I received from Loyola University telling me I'd hear back no later then March 31st. We still have time :)

Very happy to be waitlisted! I thought I would be outright rejected.
