Graduate School Admission Results

TTP(s)B: Same. Status changed to update pending yesterday. I received an email half an hour back about an update but it still shows Update Pending. Is there any chance it will be an acceptance?

To the guy who posted about recieving a mail from UMass below. Same, I too have been waiting for update pending to change to an admit/reject since yesterday and recieved a mail a few minutes ago

MS/PhD applicant here. I think no MS/PhD results are out yet. Might be wrong. Would be great if any future posters would mention if they applied for MS/PhD and got results (For MS/PhD or just vanilla PhD) to help us. Thanks :)

TTPB: The person who is rejected, I am sorry for your rejection. Did you apply for MS/PhD or MS only?

Okay, the last update was not for the person below. But for the one below them.

TTPB: From the CICS website - "**Updated on March 16, 2021** While we are working remotely we hope to have all Fall admissions decision made by March 22. Students who are accepted to one of our programs must confirm acceptance by April 15. Due to the large volume of applications to both programs we request that all applicants refrain from calling or emailing about the status of their application. You will be notified by March 22 of our decision."

Status changed to update pending. I'm shitting myself right now

TTPB: My status is also under review and I've gone crazy checking it too. Last year they were giving admits via the website till april also and that too in phases so maybe we should just keep calm

TTPB: Below rejects, how did you check your status? Email or spire? Since my status is still showing "Under Review". Also, anybody MS CS with concentration in security here, any update?

Clicked on the "Check Status of Application Materials" tab. Got the following message: You are not authorized to access this component. (40,20) You have not been granted security authorization for the component you are attempting to access. You may have access to the designated component and page, but not in the specified action mode (such as Correction or Update/Display). Contact your system administrator. Anyone else faced this before? Also, would be very helpful if the ones who got admits could tell if you applied for MS/PhD or vanilla MS. Thanks a lot :)

Dual Degree B.Tech Chemical Engg. and M.Tech Data Sciences from IIT-M. CGPA: 8.9/10. Status changed to "Update Pending" and received the admit on the portal 5 hours later.
