Graduate School Admission Results

I had good pre-apply Skype as well as on-site interview. I just think they knew they were not my top choice.

Already accepted another offer when this came in :)

TTPB: They been sending out rejection and acceptance e-mails since late Feburary. If you are hoping to get in, it's not a bad sign if you haven't heard yet, might mean you're on the wait list. After the April 15th deadline, spots might open up.

*TTPB - Have not received an update from the department or graduate admissions either. Have not emailed or called them yet - hoping for a good response while waiting! Good luck!

Has anyone heard any sort of update from the physics department or graduates admission? I've applied for their Physics PhD program, but haven't heard a word from them - not even if it was sent to the department for review or if maybe I have been wait listed. Then when I emailed the physics department last week, I have yet to get an answer. Has anyone heard anything from Vanderbilt regarding the Physic programs? I have yet to hear anything from four schools I applied to, which at this point I feel is somewhat strange.

TTPB: I posted in the biostats results forum but I had an MS offer from Colorado that would be funded either after the first or second semester, and also heard from Minnesota that they would try to fund me but I didn't pursue it.

TTPB: did you receive funding with your other master's offers?

first (and probably only) PhD acceptance!!! everywhere else only admitted me to masters. 32.5 k/yr, will be attending :)

April 15th is around the corner; this is a stressful and exciting time for many. I am in the former. If you've been accepted but will not be attending, please decline as soon as possible, and give us waitlist people a glimmer of hope. Thanks in advance!

Applied for astro, rejection 12/13. I'm F***ed.

Email stating that I'm waitlisted for Data Science program. Need to reply by 5th April indicating the desire to remain in waitlist. According to email, usually some spots are available after 15th April, as some people decline the accepted offer. Would have loved to get an acceptance email though :(

For people who are trying to make their decision about schools like me: If you know you're not interested in a school, say no so other people can get their chance.

This was the last school I heard from, I have gotten into 0/10 PhD programs and 2 masters programs, what a freaking ordeal. Oh well, there's always next year.
