Received email from Graduate Admissions Director that I was waitlisted, Comparative Politics subfield; International applicant outside of the US. I was also waitlisted last year but later rejected :/ Let's see how it would end this year.

I was waitlisted on February 15th, with the email stating that I am hight on the waitlist but since then, I couldn't get any response from the Department. Email stated that I would be keep updated if anything changes.

Ignore status, sorry all. Has anyone heard back from the department yet? I'm quite nervous!

Admitted with average funding for one year. Had experience as an RA and had solid references.

Admitted with no funding. Declined offer fairly rapidly.

Admitted early by phone and got an official letter two weeks later. Great funding. I have experience as a research assistant, I applied for SSCHRC and have two strong references.

Rejected from PhD program, Accepted for the UChicago MAPSS Program, Comparative Politics. Got 15k Research Scholarship funding award but would ask for whether additional funding might be available. Otherwise all tuition would be too costly.
