I am excited about this acceptance but still weighing against other Master's programs, and may not make my decision until early April. I only have an undergraduate degree and was highly encouraged by the dept. chair to apply to their Master's program rather than PhD.

Re: BA degrees in Linguistics and French; worked in my university's phon lab for three years; senior thesis; presented at a conference. Chose general because I don't have interests in Applied or Socio, and didn't think I had enough work/experience with it to apply for Theoretical; accepted one of two (potentially three, but chose not to wait) other funded offers
