Received an email for status update.

Ignore the status. Has anyone heard from Smarchs/PhD BT program? I saw some rejections from Smarchs HTC already.

No email came, no portal update or anything.... Idk maybe I got rejected without even a rejection letter?

Thought I had made good professor connections but I guess only the cream of the crop get in here! Worked for a few years but no publications. Accepted to Brown.

Unfortunately, we are unable to admit you to our graduate program. This year we received a record number of applicants. As a result, we had to turn away hundreds of highly-qualified applicants. already have course based masters at UC Davis with gpa 4

Checked the portal after no email came. Eh, not the fit I suppose. Congrats to the individuals who got in.

IGNORE THE STATUS. Has anyone heard back from MIT for the Masters program? I am going crazy here.

I applied for the PhD too.

Really disappointed. This was the only program I applied to. I wasn't planning on grad school until I saw this program because it seemed perfect for my interests. My GPA is pretty low, but I had a ton of unique experience that I hoped would get me through. My topic of interest is really different from what TPP students usually cover so I don't know if that helped or hurt. Best of luck to everyone else though and congrats to those who got it. Seems like an amazing program. I will try again next year!
