Emailed track director of admissions to ask about application status. Notified that application was not selected for interview.

Not sure about the admission process.

To the poster below, how was the admission process? Did you have an interview? Thanks in advance

Ph.D. interviews are going to be sent in the next two weeks- interview day is on the 10 of February

For a Skype interview on Tuesday. I applied specifically to the Classics/History combined degree, so I'm not sure how the timelines compare to either department individually

Hadn't heard back from them even though the website had stated that interview invites would be sent out by early-to-mid January. Emailed the program director directly and was told that all invites have already been sent out. Something along the lines of "out of 900 applicants, only 17 were invited...." Dang. Guess not sending anything is their way of either saving time or sparing us from the sting of rejection.

"Thank you for your inquiry about our graduate admissions process. While the process is still unfolding and we have yet to make any offers of admission, we have invited a number of candidates for on-campus interviews. Unfortunately, you were not among that group. This year we had over 900 applicants for approximately 17 positions in the program and, regrettably, many students with outstanding records and potential were not able to be invited. I should note that no applicants will be officially accepted or rejected until we make those decisions in mid-February. I know this is not welcome news, and wish you luck in your future studies."

Can the applicant to the SBS program below who received an interview request share some details about their POI and when interviews are scheduled for?
