Graduate School Admission Results

To the international applicant who received a call: Are you currently based in the US/have a US phone number? Just wanted to know if it's all over!

Accepted earlier in January, just got my GA financial aid offer today. $22.5k stipend + tuition

I'm the poster who started with "Okay, Princeton is actually...". Got the call early/mid-afternoon, last name in the F through I range, American number.

Recommended for admission. Very happy with it. Good luck to all!

To previous poster: I had an interview in mid Jan, and was emailed with acceptance on the 12th Feb!

Email said that application status has been updated. International student. Will likely reject.

One of the acceptees below. Was just a phone call from David Lee congratulating me and saying an email from the econ dep will come at 9pm and an official letter will come next Monday. He asked about competitors and told me that visit week is end of March.

I was the first person who posted on gradcafe with an admission to Princeton. Last name starts with C. As was stated further down below, at 9pm, an informal letter will be sent to admitted students, and next Monday, an official letter will be sent. If the Princeton informal letter is like Chicago's, then funding information will be disclosed later tonight. If you want more information, then you should go to urch and make a post there.

Recommended for admission. Official decision to come later this week.

Okay, Princeton is actually calling today (NJ area code). Going out throughout the day, though, because it seems like other people received the call much earlier. So don't freak out yet! Good luck to everyone!

The Princeton admits are not trolls. I can't confirm anything about Columbia though. If you don't believe gradcafe, then you can check the urch forums.
