Graduate School Admission Results

I presented my research at two research conferences where I showed statistical skills such as machine learning and regressions. My undergraduate had coursework with Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau, SPSS, and R. I also had two internships, one for Wells Fargo and the other for USAA.

Got the funded email last night. Excited.

Just turned down a funded offer from Clemson (full tuition waiver+ GAship with 22.5K annual stipend). Good luck to those on waitlist for admission and/or funding.

Was previuosly on the waitlist. Aleady accepted the offer.

Have any admitted people received any updates about their funding? Are they sending out fully funded offers recently? Thanks!

i guess i can speak for the post below: i emailed yesterday and they told me i would be rejected. received the official letter today. My friend still has not gotten anything either so i guess they are rejecting the bottom part of the wl at this point, not sure how much. Good luck if you are still on it.

TPB: I am sorry about the decision. May I ask how did you get notified? I recieved no updates from the coordinator (shot an email yesterday), nor in the system. Anxiously waiting for the rejection coming so I can update my second choice.

TPB: Professor Flores-Lagunes told me they had more than 250 applicants this year and their goal is class size of 8-10 students. I know someone who received their funding offer which includes 22k stipend +5k summer bonus (altogether 27k). It is a great school which highly focused on Econometrics. To funded students, if you have better offers, please decline the offer from SU.
