3 amazing LORs, perfect test scores and GPA for both bachelor's and master's, 3 years in research. Was promised interview back in December but never got more follow-up. Finally got an email back from department saying I "didn't meet criteria" for an interview???? I emailed back asking about the criteria lol... no response. JUST got my actual rejection today. Pathetic, UMass. |

They invited me to interview but provided no date for the interview. I searched online, emailed two different people at Rutgers, and called grad admissions more than once. I never received a response using any of these outlets and couldn't find the information elsewhere. Today is the deadline to commit to a PhD program, so I guess I should switch "interview" to "rejection" |
