Graduate School Admission Results

Undergraduate degree in EE, GPA = 3.9, GRE 170/167/5.5, many research projects but no publications, two years work experience. Rejected probably because of lack of enough background in CS.

They notified me early to let me know they cannot offer me any departmental funding.

Expected reject. Have Canadian Master's degree but probably they didn't even look at the application because they have so many qualified applicants. However, making us wait so much time is very bad. Why do they have to wait for a batch to send reject when individual rejects can be sent much easily and earlier?

UCLA is my #1 choice! If any other theory applicants know they won't be attending, it would mean the world to me if you'd decline soon!

To UCLA masters poster below. I'm also awaiting a decision. I don't know if we are waitlisted or something. People who mail asking for the status are getting their rejects. I'm holding my guns until April 20th or something, which I think is the deadline for the current admits to accept or reject. Let's see

If you have an offer from UCLA (Graphics & Vision Specialization) and you do not plan to attend please decline the offer!

Phew..Wondering if its too late for the visa process.

I got accepted to better schools and I have decided to go to UCI, so no prob :)

Is there anyone else left who is without a decision yet ?!

After Such a long time! I had already made up my mind to attend UMass Amherst ... Now this puts me in a fix!

Went to the office and asked about the admission process. They told me the last date is not May 13th but 31st, and they are not done with reviewing all the applications. Be patient and keep your fingers crossed.
