Funding decision in March

interview was on 2/6/08 for group of 9 students

From the waiting list - had been corresponding with a few profs there. So exciting.

I applied only to the terminal MA program, not the Ph.D/MA. I had already decided to go abroad to get my degree, but the rejection is still annoying.

I just got an email from NYU saying that I am still on the waitlist, and asking if I'm still interested. Did anyone else get the same email?

To the NYU guy, it means that there are some spaces opening up at NYU. No, i didn't get the email, at least not yet, but i suppose that its good news for those persons who haven't heard from NYU in a while. Good Luck

At this late date, NYU admitted me to the MA program (I applied MA/PhD track) with no funding! I won't be accepting.

No funding. What a tease!

Nope! havent heard either!

I put my application in January (regular decision) and still no word. Did anyone apply to this program and find out the decision, or is everyone still in the dark?

I got my letter through postal mail about 3 to 4 weeks ago. The director also sent an email to all "accepted students" about 2 weeks ago. Perhaps there may be others accepted (especially if some decline). Best of luck.
