Graduate School Admission Results

TTPB: For those who are still waiting for McGill, I emailed the graduate program coordinator and she said she has no idea and did not take part in the admission process, she also said any rejections will not be sent out until spring. She asked me to email my potential PI directly. So I emailed my PI and she said her group has reached max capacity (= rejection). Apparently admission is done within a research group instead of the department, so if you still haven't heard from them yet, you should probably just send your PI an email and ask.

Ignore Waitlist. I contacted a member of the decision committee and they stated my application was still under review. Wondering if anyone has heard from TAMU yet.

TTPB: I have a friend who was accepted a few weeks ago (plasma physics), so I'm thinking first round offers are out and most notifications from here on out will be rejections

I guess I will work as high school teacher then... I should have studied agriculture instead
